At the Fair

On the fairway

On the fairway

One of the great joys of fall in North Carolina is the State Fair.  There is all kinds of good food to eat and lots of fun things to see like cows and goats and chickens, and best of all; racing pigs!  We took our annual trek to the fair so that Erin could have funnel cake and see all of the crafts and rides (we didn’t try any– if it can be taken apart in under 3 hours, you just can’t be sure how sturdy it is, really…).  We did see a poodle show, hear some music, see the animals and eat tasty food.  A good time was had by all, and we started a tradition of having Grace’s silhouette cut out at the Village of Yesteryear.  Now it’s officially fall.
